Snow this morning

Morning Snow in Teton Valley 1I like winter as much as the next guy, but not on September 22. It was snowing hard last night and woke up to a blanket of snow on the Valley floor this morning. My guess is that 6″-8″ fell in the mountains. Here’s what I saw when I went to work this morning.

Here’s another from the top of the tram.

Real Esate News:

The town of Jackson approved a few projects this past week. 17 units at the end of East Simpson, 10 units on the corner of Redmond and Hall, and the fist of Jay Varleys master plan which consists of a 32,000 sq. ft. mixed use building on the corner of South Glenwood and West Simpson. I say master plan because he owns an astounding 27 lots in town. 27.

In Teton Village, a 560 sq. ft. studio in the Sleeping Indian building was listed for $315,000 went under contract in TWO days.

Two “cabins” at 3 Creek Ranch were listed at $3,450,000 and $3,550,000 respectively. One is 3br/4br 3979 sq. ft. and the other is 4br/4ba 4241 sq. ft. Both are on the golf course.

A 50×150 lot in town on East Simpson is listed for $485,000. If whoever buys it builds a 2000 sq. ft. house at about $200 p/f then they're into it for close to $900,000. That’s a big number for what would probably be a 3br/2ba house on .17 acres in the middle of town.

Looks like were going to get back to summer, or at least fall like, weather on sunday. Woohoo!
