Big Changes needed in the Bronx

Now that I've come off the ledge after watching the lifeless Yankees get blown away by the Detroit Tigers, I guess I can concentrate on real estate again.

The most interesting thing I heard this week is the the Buyer who bought the KOA campground on the Village Road last month, has allegedly sold it again for roughly $3M more than he paid for it.  The best part is he managed to do this without making a single payment.  Beautiful.  Apparently a campground timeshare company plans on buying it and selling the 120+ sites in weekly intervals. There must be a big demand if they're willing to pay over $11M for 15 or so acres.

Other notables:

Melody Ranch released there latest building lots.  Most are between .50-.75 acres listed for between $500,000 and $700,000.

Three .18 acre lots in town listed for $500,000 each.

.48 acre lot in Indian Trails listed for $595,000

Lot 33 in Granite Ridge, .68 acres, listed for $2,450,000!

Moose Creek #26 and #27 sold for $1,625,000 and $1,700,000 respectively.  Both are 3br/3.5 ba., 2200 sq.ft.

Lastly, a 5br/4ba 4736 sq. ft. house on .56 acres in Indian Trails that is listed for a cool $2M has gone under contract.  Unbelievable!
