Banana Hammocks
Back from 3 weeks on the equator. Amazing. Going on a prolonged vacation is great for a variety of reasons, not the least of which how excited I get to be back to Teton County. Jackson really is a magical place. A few other thoughts:
Emerites Air, which we flew from JFK to the Seychelles, via Dubai, makes the US Airlines look like complete fly-by –night operations. Emerites Air treats you like a valued customer, not like a three-peat meth addict. The state of the US airlines is abysmal.
Is there a single article of clot
hing that screams “I’m not American!!” more than the male bikini?
When we arrived back in JFK, the customs agent, who’d been working for customs for 24 years said “ This is a joke. We’re less safe now than we were prior to 9/11.” Excellent. Way to go George.
Life works pretty well when your biggest decision of the day revolves around when you’re going to have your first beer.
