John Prine
Saw John Prine on Monday night and it was really great. Despite my bitching about the ticket system (which still needs to be fixed) the show was fantastic and the venue is yet another example of some of the incredible facilities we have in Jackson despite the small size of the town. I sincerely hope this is just the first of many great acts to come and play at this wonderful, intimate venue.
Been riding the Hagen/Putt Putt trails and they’re in great shape, especially for this time of year. The Ferrins Trail is clear to the top too, which opens up all the amazing riding on the backside of the King. The trail system up Cache Creek is fantastic and you’re really missing out on one of the great things Jackson has to offer if you’re not using it.
When I came back to town I felt as though the Real Estate market may be softening a bit. Wrong. There are several new projects being floated around not the least of which is 400 or so deed restricted units on the Seherr –Thoss property. Throw in what will ultimately probably be 70 or so lots at Osprey Creek (which will be approved in some fashion despite denial by the planning staff), 68 units at Cottonwood, and the 200 or so units that will be built in Teton Village over the next 5 years and it appears that the Jackson real estate juggernaut will continue to cruise along. I also saw a Moose Creek 4br get 3 offers well over the $1.8MM asking price in 24 hours. Crazy
Is it just me or are the Super Sized RV’s arriving just a tad early this year?
