Springtime in Jackson, love it or leave it. After a week of ridiculously good weather we were treated with some snow this week and temps well into the lower 20’s at night. Great for all the plants that were put out on mother’s day. I guess we all knew this would happen but when the weather gets so nice so early, I move into this sense of denial and pretend that summer is here to stay. Looks good for this Memorial Day weekend though.
After being laid up for 8 months or so, it was a real thrill to see old friend John Becker out at the Bistro the other night. He was laughing, shaking hands and generally acting as the de-facto Mayor of Teton County, which 
of course he is.
Here’s a shot of the new Hotel Terra, which is going up in Teton Village, right across from the Moose. They plan on having in open by Christmas. Hmmm. You decide. Between Shooting Star, Terra, and another hotel penciled in above the Teton Club, there is a very big pile of money riding on Teton Village right now.
Speaking of the Village, they are moving a ton of dirt at the new Shooting Star golf course and I really think this is going to change Teton Village even more than the Four Season did when it opened, and the FS changed things A LOT.
Not to be outdone, nothing seems to be happening with the construction of the new Tram. With the lack of snow this spring it seems it would be an ideal time to take advantage of an especially long construction season and maybe get an early start on a massive project that will certainly take longer than expected. That’s just me though.
