I Spent Sunday climbing the Middle Teton. It’s a hard climb, around 11 hours round trip, 5800′ but vey doable now that there is really no snow up high. We got caught is a pretty bad thunderstorm on the way down but it was beautiful on the summit. (Grand Teton in the backround)Here is an interesting/frightening/funny rant from Jim Cramer on CNBC regarding the current interest rates.
Dick Cheney will be spending his August vacation in Jackson. Some Jackson residents are not too happy that he'll be relaxing, fishing, etc., while our troops continue to be mired in Iraq.

There are 13 properties listed for sale at Teton Pines ranging from a 3br/3ba 2200 sq. ft. townhouse for $1,425,000 to a 5br/5ba 7500 sq.ft. custom home on the 18th hole for $8,800,000. This is interesting to me. With 3 Creek Ranch, Teton Springs (Idaho) Snake River Sporting Club, Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis and the soon to be released Shooting Star Course at Teton Village stealing spotlight, Teton Pines seems to be flying under the radar. While the course itself is not as sexy as the others, it’s still a good course, with a premiere location and there is NOBODY playing it. So if you're looking for a course where you can usually play when you want and get through 18 in 4 hours or so, Teton Pines is still a pretty nice option. And the membership is not 6 figures like some of the others.
