HMS Red Sox-Taking on Water!
For Red Sox fans, this says it all. Seriously, who’s in a bigger freefall?
1. Red Sox
2. Muts
3. O.J.
If you're a Yankees fan, this is as good as it gets. The perverbial “Perfect Storm” of a complete collapse by the Red Sox and Muts and the Yankees chasing ‘em down like Britney chasing an Ice Cream truck. I honestly consider myself a person with a fair amount of compassion for my fellow man, but watching The Red Sox’s pitcher Eric Gagne implode on the mound the other night was one of the true pleasures of my life.
I've heard from a couple people that the developers of Osprey Creek (KOA) and the County Commissioners are making headway towards some sort of agreement. It looked pretty bleak a few weeks ago. Speaking of which, it seems the Town Coucil and County Commissioners can't come together on an agreement whether to raise the affordable housing component of any developement from 15% to 25%. Really? Is there still debate on this issue among our elected officials 15 years after the County mandated that we address the affordable housing crisis. Aspen is at 60%.
Got my first real look at the Teton Meadows (Seherr-Thoss) developement and while at this point I don't know if it’s good or bad, I can tell you it’s huge-500 lots with 25% affordable and the rest with an employment based deed restriction (too complicated for this space). It appears to be about 1.5 times as big as Rafter J. The County Commissioners are going to earn their money with this one.
This is an interesting piece on how the some companies always win. As Nuke LaLouche said to Crash “It’s almost like they knew what was coming” Hmmmm…
As you can see by this photo, Friday was one of those days here Jackson
