Snakes and Kids
Spent the weekend skiing at the Village. For December 8th, it was pretty good. Most of the steeper terrain was open with just enough snow to have fun skiing it, but not enough to save the bottoms of your skis. It’s time to reintroduce yourself to anyone who tunes skis at the Village
Took this shot of the where the Clock Tower used to be
. Kind of reminds me of this famous photo of Bobby Clarke, back when people actually cared about the NHL.
I don’t usually like to promote my own listings, let alone someone elses, but this listing in Teton Village is really something else. Remarkable. Granted it’s almost $16,000,000!
Belle Cose, on the town square, has taken Christmas decorating to an entirerly new level. Stop by and see it.
Looks like there will be ice in Wilson by this evening, tomorrow at the latest. I’ll post the pick up hockey schedule soon. It’s usually Monday and wednesday Nights around 6:30 pm
In a County where EVERYTHING seems to be overpriced, the $5.00 Burrito at D.O.G. has got to be, by far, the best deal in town. It’s sooo good, just don’t tell me exactly what’s in it. As someone once said, “Don’t ever find out how the sausages are made”.
There is an interesting article in the Planet Jackson Hole about South Americans coming to Jackson to work for the winter. Like their summer counterparts, the East Europeans, these workers are increasingly becoming vital to the economic success of the Valley. As a business owner in Teton Village, I have employed several of these season workers and they are really great. They’re happy to be here, show up on time and unlike a lot of other people who move to Jackson for the season, THEY WANT TO WORK.

Jesus, Jack, I don't know if its the cocktails I've consumed this evening or if you're really so right on (again—probably a little of both…). The skiing at the Vil was fantastic on Sunday(given that it was very early season) and the absence of the tram—dock, cable, cars and all—made me feel like something was really missing, which it was.
Keep up the good work.
Oh, and by the way, don't forget to plug the elves for us!

I don't understand how anyone could avoid buying property in Jackson Hole. It’s my favorite place on Eart.
