Here is an interesting piece that appeared in the Boston Globe about the housing crisis we're facing here in Teton County. Apparently it was picked up by a few other news outlets including the Washington Post

Here’s a shot of the new Parking garage that opened Friday. Despite free parking it doesn't seem to be seeing too much action. I suspect that will change during the summer crunch.

Frontier Airlines will start flying 3 planes a day into Jackson beginning in mid May. This is great news for locals and visitors as the initial published rates are much cheaper than United, Delta or American. The first published fares had rates as low as $178 to Denver, $298 to New York and $278 to Chicago and San Francisco. Granted these prices will invariably go up, but like a 100 lawyers chained to the ocean floor, it’s a good start. The only downside is the already overwhelmed baggage system will be maxed out a little more.

This is so bizzare. A $1,000,000.00 pretzel?

And, I really, really, don't know what to say about THIS!

Real Estate:

There were 13 listings with price changes in Teton County this past week. They all were lowered. There were 46 price changes on listings in Teton Valley and Star Valley. They all were lowered as well.

There were 26 new listings this past week in the Teton County (not including Alta). There were 91 new listings in Teton Valley and Star Valley.
