March Madness
Despite the arrival of March, the skiing has remained very good, with sunshine and some powder days and relatively cold temps which has kept the snow in pretty good. March is always fun because there seem to be a lot of visitors and pleanty of sunshine. Clearly though, these folks had seen enough.![]()

Took these two shots earlier this week, one driving home from work and the other of the Wilson School just before sunrise![]()

As I mentioned before, the Teton Meadows approval process is really turning into a mess, with very little middle ground. There is a story in this weeks paper which gives examples of how far apart the sides are. Along those lines, after seeing the full color, half page ad in the N&G paid for by a group opposing the Teton Meadows project appear right below the article in the paper, it is becoming increasing clear that the paper is pushing an agenda. There is really nothing wrong with doing that, just so long as the readers are aware. If you don't think that it’s true, then you're just not paying attention.
Congrats to both the boys and girls high school ski teams for winning the state titles this past week. Special mention should go to the girls team which made it NINE years in a row. Oh by the way, both teams were also undefeated.
There is a nice piece on Resi Steigler is this weeks Planet JH. Speaking of bad falls, this poor fellow had to have his leg amputated due to complications with his broken leg. It makes you realize how lucky she was, and thousands of others who have broken their legs skiing, myself included.
