This is what spring skiing is all about![]()
Apparently not everyone is so bullish on the Jackson real estate market. This article from the Financial Times claims that high end resort areas are not going to be immune to the recent lending crisis. If you scroll through you'll see some comments on the Jackson market. They seem to think the ski season/winter is what dictates the market when the reality really is, that with the exception of maybe Teton Village, the Summer season drives the real estate bus around here. That is when the Buyers and the money show up.
Turns out the millions that “Kristen” was going to make by having the worlds most famous ex governor as a client has been slowed for a little while, a least until the USA network movie comes out. Hope she enjoyed the $500 or she got, because it cost her a million.
Here is an article stating that our President’s approval rating has hit an all time low. In light of the fact that the economy is in the tank, gas prices are at an all time high and were mired in war that has absolutely no possible end, this does not surprise me. What I want to know is who are these 31% of Americans who approve of the job he’s doing? And why are they drinking so early in the day.
Speaking of which, today is the 5 year anniversary of the beginning of the war in Iraq. Regardless of your feelings about the war, the one undeniable fact is 3990 US Military personnel have died as a result. That is 3990 families who’s lives have been devastated and will never be the same.
54″ of snow on the upper mountain since 3/13. 525″ total for the season so far and more expected tonight!
And this is just wrong on so many levels. I wonder what Dr. Lechter and Agent Starling would think of this?
